Travelers looking to purchase tickets from Singapore to Malaysia have more payment options – including payment by cash – now that Singapore Post Limited (SingPost) has teamed up with
BusOnlineTicket.com.
In addition to SingPost’s 297 self-service automated machines (SAM machines) where clients can book a ticket and pay on the spot, customers can also visit any of SingPost’s 56 post offices nationwide to pay for bus tickets after reserving them at BusOnlineTicket. “Working with SingPost, we will be able to serve more customers, even those who do not have a credit card,” said the general manager for BusOnlineTicket.com. Other payment options include Visa and Mastercard; DBS, UOB, and CitiBank; and PayPal.
Travelers by
bus from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Genting Highlands, or other destinations in Malaysia now have more than 350 convenient SingPost locations to purchase coach tickets. Customers can choose from many types of buses to suit their budgets and traveling needs, ranging from an 18-seat luxury bus with onboard entertainment to a standard 40-seat bus.
When booking a coach on
BusOnlineTicket.com, clients first choose payment by SingPost and then print a voucher. Seats are reserved for 24 hours, during which time customers can choose to pay at either a SAM machine or a SingPost outlet. Once payment is received, customers receive a receipt and an email confirmation.
“Having the option to pay at a SingPost outlet is very convenient,” said customer Grace Tan. “The post office is just a five-minute walk from my house.”
